As a young Iowa girl continues her fight through a rare form of cancer, she gets a surprise from her favorite football team.
Earlier this month, Shai Shay's classmates visited Gundersen Lutheran where Shai is receiving treatment and shaved their heads so the sixth grader would know she's not alone.
The Minnesota Vikings saw the story we did about Shai and knowing she's a big Vikings fan, the team sent an Adrian Peterson jersey and a signed photo of the star running back to Shai.
She got her gifts Friday and was very excited about them.
Shai's classmates are holding a benefit for her Saturday at the North Winneshiek Gymnasium.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. is a free will donation lunch and starting at one is a live auction.
