WKBT La Crosse, WI-NewsChannel 8-Oktoberfest Committee already looking for nominations for next year's Festmaster

It may seem like Oktoberfest just ended, but it's already time to plan ahead to next year. The Oktoberfest committee is now accepting nominations for its 2010 Festmaster, which will be the leader of the 50th anniversary celebration.
They are looking for an involved, friendly and outgoing male. Another important characteristic is involvement in the community. Peter Krause, 2007 Festmaster says, "they have to be pretty involved in the community not necessarily all that involved with Oktoberfest, but we want folks that have been out there and have experienced all of the positive things that this community has to offer."
Applications may be picked up at the Oktoberfest office. The Deadline for applications is December 7th.
