Pet of the Week - "Jasper"

ADOPTED

 Jasper is a 1 year old Schnauzer cross who is current with his vaccinations.  He is young and vibrant and ready to make the most of each and every day!  Jasper's former family spent time with him both housebreaking him and crate training him.  Jasper is used to spending his day in a crate, keeping him safe while you are away and out of the crate whenever you are home with him.  He certainly does not mind having something to keep him busy while in his crate like a bone to chew on or a stuffed animal to cuddle up to and take a nap with. Jasper has lived with a cat.  It was shared with us that little Jasper wanted to play so badly with the cat, but his feline friend did not want to return the favor.  He seemed to be respectful though.  If Jasper will be sharing his home with a cat, it would be best for everyone if the cat enjoyed the company of dogs.  Jasper should do well sharing his home with another dog as well.  Jasper is a very playful young man who loves to run around in the yard chasing a ball or hanging out indoors while playing, helping you around the house, or napping.  Jasper would benefit greatly from daily exercise be it walking, jogging, a day at doggie daycare, or playing in the back yard.  He appears to be a healthy and happy young man who is simply eager to have a family to call his own once again.
