A group of local women worked for a good cause Saturday.
Around 30 female volunteers took part in the construction of a house in Holmen as a part of Habitat for Humanity's Women Build.
Women Build coincides with Mothers Day and is an opportunity for women to get involved in what is traditionally a male occupation.
Habitat for Humanity members say the women were involved in all aspects of the construction.
Cori Skolaski with Habitat for Humanity says, "They're doing everything, what we've done today is we've built some window wells and they put them on the side of the house and they're building some scaffolding and next is the sills."
The house the volunteers are building should be finished in a few months.
The family that is expected to move in has been involved in the construction as well.
